Thank you to our panelists and attendees for engaging in everything "experience" during livingHR’s September Work Now + In The Future (WNIF) virtual event.

There is so much ground to cover when it comes to "experience." We know that experience is made up of moments big and small. It's what shapes our view of and connection to what we're all doing here - especially if "here" is the workplace. Here are some highlights and key takeaways from our panelists:

Perry Timms
"There's probably never been a better time to put {employee experience} under the microscope and try to drive something really powerful to humanize what work is."

Brandon Keao
"You have to be more flexible… and mindful about different people's work experiences and home realities. You have to look at them even more as the whole person to ensure they're not marginalized because they can't commit to the same digital commitment that others might be able to."

Christofer Peterson
"Why are you trying to figure out what your employees problems are, why don’t you ask them. Ask them. Stop problem solving and ask them what they need."

If you were unable to make it, we have a recorded session here.

A special thank you to our panelists:

Perry Timms (Founder and Chief Energy Officer @ People & Transformational HR Ltd), Brandon Keao (Core Director of Product @ Bitly), and Christofer Peterson (Senior Director, HR, Talent & Engagement @ Hearts & Science) for stepping up to the table to have this conversation, and to all of our attendees for joining and participating. Live art was created by Drawing Booth whose artistic talents brought our dialogue beautifully to life once again.

We are thrilled to share we were able to raise donations for Feeding America. This was made possible by the generosity of our event supporters and livingHR, and we are humbled by the support that’s been continuously shown.

At the beginning of the event, we put out a quick poll for our attendees to answer to. Here are the stats that we were able to collect from the results:

1. Which of the below Employee Experience touchpoint do you feel will need to adapt most to the future of work?

Attract • Hire • Onboard • Performance & Feedback • Growth, Learning & Development • Transition & Offboarding

These were the top two answers, coming in at a tie:

Growth, Learning & Development

2. Do you feel your organization has leveraged technology to improve your employee experience?
